Reynaldo Mesa was born and raised in Garden City, KS. and attended Buffalo Jones Elementary, Abe Hubert Jr. High, and graduated from Garden City High School. He also attended Garden City Community College, Wichita State University, and eventually earned his B.S. in Business Management from Friends University.
Reynaldo is married to Ellen Essl, and they have three children, Lauren Base, Dante Mesa, and Taylor Mesa. They also have two grandchildren, Evie and Bronson Base.
Throughout his working career, Reynaldo has been a successful entrepreneur, businessman, and public servant, serving as a city commissioner, mayor, and state legislator. He was elected to the Kansas House of Representatives, serving as the 123rd District Representative during 2010-2012.
Currently, he works for Mesa Plumbing and is a Realtor with Envision Real Estate. Reynaldo attends Cornerstone Church, and he continues to serve on local and state boards and committees.
He is a Co-Founder of Real Men Real Leaders and desires to help the organization’s growth to expand its reach to many more young boys. To help lead, inspire, motivate, and encourage these young boys to be strong leaders in the home, community, and school.
After School Program Coordinator
Born and raised in Garden City, KS and attended St. Mary’s School through 8th grade, and graduated from Garden City High School. Jonas served in the US Army and was deployed with the 467th Engineer Platoon in 1990 for Desert Shield/Storm and was awarded the Kuwait Liberation Medal.
After returning home, he completed GCCC with an Associate degree and joined the family’s three businesses, which have been running for over 25 years. Now working for UPS, and proud to be the After School Program Coordinator of Real Men Real Leaders.
Jonas is married and has 2 adult children.
Linda Lansdon is a graduate of Hill City High School and Brown—Mackie School of Business. She was married to the late Charles M. Lansdon and is the mother of Tracy Collins Mark and grandmother to Cameron and MacKenzie Collins. Her past employers are Earl C. Brookover, and Charles M. Lansdon, CPA.
During the time she worked for Charles (Mike) Lansdon, her husband, she also owned and managed 3 hair salons. She started Studio 1 in Garden City and Middleton Salons in Pueblo and Colorado Springs. Studio 1 was voted number 1 salon various years. The Colorado Springs salon was voted number 1 salon in Colorado Springs in 1995. She later sold the salons to focus her time in working for the CPA firm. The CPA ﬁrm closed November 1, 2021 after Mike’s death in September, 2021.
Tim was born and raised in Garden City, Kansas in 1965. He attended Garfield Elementary School from Kindergarten thru 4th grade until it burned down, then went to Gertrude Walker Elementary School finishing out 4th through 6th grade. He went to Abe Hubert Junior High and then Graduated from GCHS in 1983.
Tim has worked many jobs, primarily in the construction field and for the last 15 years with UPS as a pre-loader in the mornings and construction with Sperry Construction in the afternoons until recently. He started working with Real Men Real Leaders in August 2021.
Tim has been married to his wife Roxie for 37 years. They have 2 adult children and 12 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandson on the way.
